Since December 2023, Infinity Continuity has been a Business Continuity Institute (BCI) Licensed Training Partner, providing bespoke resilience training and certification courses. To-date, we have delivered the CBCI Certification Course (and other BCI courses) for participants in the APAC region and across the globe, with a near 100 percent “pass” rate! See details below.
In the current “new normal” environment, organisations need to ensure they are equipped with the relevant skillsets and knowledge to empower their teams to navigate through potential risks, mitigate exposures and thrive in today’s competitive environment.
To assist organisations in staying up to-date, Infinity Continuity works in collaboration with the Relevant Authorities and partners in delivering talks, seminars or courses conducted by Infinity Continuity. Where applicable, CPD points and professional certifications will be issued through our partners.

1) Course: “CBCI Certification Course“
Synopsis: Based on the latest 7.0 edition, the CBCI Certification Course is the BCI’s number one course that teaches you the fundamentals to implement a Business Continuity Management (BCM) programme into your organization and provides you with a solid base for a career in business continuity and resilience. The course is for anyone that has business continuity responsibilities within their organization and/or anyone looking to develop a career in the industry.
On completion of this course, participants will gain practical insight and best practices of how a business continuity plan (BCP) is developed, with learning opportunities to use your own organisation as a case study throughout the course. On passing the CBCI Exam, participants are eligible to become a BCI member (membership free for first year). As a CBCI level BCI member, participants will receive the “CBCI” post nominal and electronic credential to showcase their knowledge, expertise and commitment to professional development.

2) Course: “CBCI Refresher Course“
Synopsis: The CBCI Refresher Course brings learners who have previously passed any version of the CBCI up to date on the latest edition. This 1-day course will take the learners through the changes in the new GPG and refresh their CBCI knowledge.
There is no mandatory exam at the end of this course, only a Certificate of Attendance (along with 8 CPD points) will be awarded. However, if the learners would like to take the Online CBCI Exam 7.0 after attending this course, they may contact the BCI directly to arrange.

3) Course: “Designing and Delivering Effective Exercises Training Course (DETC)“
Synopsis: This course aims to provide an understanding of how to design, facilitate and report on exercises for crisis, emergency and business continuity management programmes.
This 2 day course comes complete with course slides and Student Workbook that contains exercises to be completed throughout the course and other complimentary resources. The course is based on the BCI Good Practice Guidelines (GPG) and reflects current International Standards in business continuity.

4) Course: “Business Continuity Management (BCM) Managers Course“
Synopsis: Businesses today are no longer how they used to operate. Meeting stakeholders’ contractual and regulatory requirements are no longer sufficient in ensuring organisation survival. With the rate of change and ongoing global developments, how can an organisation ensure that it has the relevant framework and capacity in ensuring business productivity, trust maintenance and in the event of a business disruption, initiate adequate response and subsequent recovery measures?
The short answer to the above, is having an effective business continuity management (BCM) programme. Designed for anyone tasked with designing, managing and implementing BCM within their organisation, this programme will provide participants with a broad overview of what BCM is about, the steps and processes involved in implementing them, as well as crafting a business continuity plan. This programme makes appropriate reference to the current ISO 22301, the Business Continuity Institute’s Good Practice Guidelines (BCI GPG), as well as shared best practices.

5) Course: “Incident Response and Crisis Management Training Course (IRCM)“
Synopsis: This course covers all aspects of developing and implementing an incident response structure and crisis management capability.
The course is broken down into modules exploring the concepts and principles of incident and crisis management and what tools and techniques can be applied when anticipating and assessing incidents. It also looks at the key activities, roles and responsibilities required for effective incident and crisis management.

Infinity Continuity recently presented at the annual Business Continuity & Resilience Awareness Week (BCAW) 2024, as part of a week-long awareness campaign organised by the Business Continuity Institute. We focussed on a 2018 case study where a major healthcare cluster in Singapore experienced an “unprecedented” data breach incident.
