BCM Managers Course

Course Synopsis

Businesses today are no longer how they used to operate. Meeting stakeholders’ contractual and regulatory requirements are no longer sufficient in ensuring organisation survival. With the rate of change and ongoing global developments, how can an organisation ensure that it has the relevant framework and capacity in ensuring business productivity, trust maintenance and in the event of a business disruption, initiate adequate response and subsequent recovery measures?

The short answer to the above, is having an effective business continuity management (BCM) programme. Designed for anyone tasked with designing, managing and implementing BCM within their organisation, this programme will provide participants with a broad overview of what BCM is about, the steps and processes involved in implementing them, as well as crafting a business continuity plan. This programme makes appropriate reference to the current ISO 22301, the Business Continuity Institute’s Good Practice Guidelines (BCI GPG), as well as shared best practices.
