CBCI Refresher Course

BCI Licensed Training Partner
CBCI 7.0 Refresher Course

Course Synopsis

The CBCI Refresher Course has been designed exclusively for professionals who have passed any past version of the CBCI Exam and are looking to bridge the knowledge gap between the Good Practice Guidelines Edition (GPG) 2018 edition and the GPG Edition 7.0.

This course is a great opportunity to refresh your knowledge about the six Professional Practices as well as acquire new knowledge about the evolution of business continuity.

The latest revision to the BCI GPG Edition 7.0 covers the progressive evolution of BCM as a discipline and incorporates updated processes and terminologies that have entered or evolved within the BC lexicon since the last review. Learners may also wish to note that the former “BCM lifecycle” has now been replaced with the “BCM System”. Hence, the revised 6 professional practices now cover:

  • PP1 – Establishing a Business Continuity Management System
  • PP2 – Embracing Business Continuity
  • PP3 – Analysis
  • PP4 – Solutions Design
  • PP5 – Enabling Solutions
  • PP6 – Validation

By taking this course, you are not required to re-sit the CBCI Exam. You will receive 8 CPD points and a certificate of attendance from the BCI on successful completion of the course.
